Edward Bohlin
Edward H. Bohlin came to the U.S. in the late 1800's. He cowboyed a while in Montana until opening his own saddleshop. His interest as an actor never panned out; yet Hollywood ultimately did make him famous. His silver buckles and silver laden saddles were center stage in Hollywood. Worn by movie stars such as Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Hank Williams and Gene Autry – his handiwork gained in popularity through Western films, where Edward Bohlin ultimately left his legacy. Bohlin's hand-crafted buckles are recognized heirloom pieces, which truly stand the test of time.
