It is much easier to enlist the help of a friend in measuring yourself for a hat. Wrap a cloth tape measure around your head just above the ears and low on the forehead. Obtain the measurement in either inches or centimeters and convert as below.

Remember when ordering a belt that your belt size is not your jean size. Generally speaking you want to add 2" inches to your jean waist size. Ideally the buckle tongue goes through the third hole in the belt. The second or fourth hole are also fine.

For trophy buckles, you generally want to order a belt the same size as your jean waist. Ideally, the tongue of the buckle goes through the middle hole in belt.

In both Lucchese and Stallion boots, most people go down one ¬? size from their street shoe size. Exceptions are if you have a high instep or wide foot, in which case you probably will wear the same size. We start all of our customers off in a D width for Men and B width for Women, and find those widths fit very well the majority of our customers.

Kemo Sabe ships most items by Fed Ex Ground. Buckles, and higher priced jewelry items are shipped three day express by default. Second Day or Next Day Air services may be selected at checkout for additional shipping charge. Ground shipments generally arrive within 5 business days of shipment. A signature is required for most home deliveries.

You will not be charged any sales tax for items shipping out of state. Items shipping within Colorado, but outside of Eagle and Pitkin county will be charged 2.9% Colorado Sales Tax. Items shipping within Eagle and Pitkin county will be charged local sales tax rates.

We will happily exchange your gift, or offer you a store credit for your next trip to town. Occassionally we may miss on the size of a hat, belt or boots for a gift, and which case we can easily remedy our error.

If you wish to return merchandise we will exchange the product, issue a store credit or credit your account promptly within 10 days of purchase (WE DO NOT CREDIT SHIPPING COSTS). The product must be un-worn and in its original condition. If any products you have purchased are damaged or defective, or part of an incorrect shipment, we will e-mail you a return label for FedEx. Most boots will greatly benefit from some type conditioner applied from time to time. We'll include a small sample of Bic 4 which we recommend as virtually the only after care product your boots will need. Suede or any skin with a nap do not require any treatment. Apply the Bic 4 with a soft cloth, or even your hands. Boot trees will also help your boots retain their new shape, as the cedar absorbs moisture from inside the boot, lessening the curl that can often form after wearing your boots.

Your boots will arrive with a boot slide and boot jack which will greatly help in putting on and taking off your boots. Begin by putting the boot slide into the back of the boot – the tab rests on the lip of the boot. Make sure you are Make sure your are seated and slide your foot into the boot with your foot on the floor. Grab hold of the pull straps and step down on the boot. Put both of your boots on and walk around the room. Your heel should be lifting out of the boot (much like a flip flop) and your instep should be snug (the top of your foot). You should feel quite comfortable with the ball of your foot laying flat on the floor.

Now to take off your boots: take your boot jack and place on the floor. Insert your heel into the jack – make sure you pull up your pant leg first. Make sure your heel is snug in the jack and place your other foot on the back of the jack. Hold onto something, so you don't fall over, and firmly pull your foot out of the boot.

With regular wear your hat will conform to the shape of your head. It is important that you keep your either hanging up, or upside down. Never set your hat down flat. With a clean hat, we'll include a small sponge you can use if you like to occasionally brush the hat and keep it clean. This is not mandatory, as the hat acquires a bit of character as it ages naturally.

Lastly, yes you certainly can take your hat on the plane – and you darn well better next time you're comin to Aspen or Vail. We want to see you wearin it, and we'll be happy to steam and shape it for you anytime in our store.

Your Kemo Sabe hat should fit snug on your head, without being overly tight. The hat should not move as you move your head from side to side. Place the hat on your head beginning just above your eyebrow, and then pull the back of hat down. We will include with your hat two small pieces of sizing tape, which if the hat feels a touch too large you can start by placing one piece under the sweatband in the front of the hat. You should notice a small difference. If you need more, place the second piece of tape in the back of the hat.
